The Makita RT001GZ01 40V XGT Brushless Router Trimmer is a high performance router/trimmer that gives excellent torque and allows 1/4" and 3/8" shanked cutters to plough through tough materials like MDF. This version of the kit is supplied without batteries or a charger, ideal for those who already own 40v XGT batteries looking to expand their collection of tools. It is also compatible with the wireless tool connection chip, which is available separately. This allows you to connect compatible Makita dust extractors to the router so that they start up and stop with the router. The kit comes with a range of accessories. This variant is a basic model not supplied in a MakPac connector case or bases.
