The Makita DUC405Z 36V Twin 18V LXT 400mm Brushless Chainsaw is powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC brushless motor drive system, which provides a chain speed of 1,200m/min.
This Makita chainsaw features a main power switch along with its auto power-off function, which avoids unintentional startups for safety. The captive nuts feature prevents loss of nuts when removing the sprocket cover to replace the guide bar or saw chain. Chain oil is stored on board to automatically lubricate the chain and the oil amount can be adjusted. The electric chain brake and kickback brake provide additional safety and control.
