The Knipex 160mm StepCut Cable Shears PVC Dipped Handles is a small but powerful tool that you need when working in the electrical industry. It may be only 160mm in size but you will get a strong cut from this tool without crushing and is up to 40% easier to cut than with standard cable shears of the same size.

The Step Cut can cut multi-core copper and aluminium cables up to Ø15mm (50mm²) and solid copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 4mm². The bolted joint on this tool makes it so you can cut through wires effortlessly and precisely whilst adding extra durability to these shears. The induction-hardened cutting edges also add extra durability to the shears whilst creating a hardness of approximately 56HRC*.
