Makita DLS714NZ Twin 18V (36V) LXT BRUSHLESS 190mm Compound Slide Mitre Saw - Body Only is a body only machine that can combine two 18 volt Lithium-ion batteries (not included) and run them in series - the result is that you get a cordless slide compound mitre saw that delivers 5700rpm and can cut up to 300mm in a single pass. This machine has been designed to rival some of the AC corded models on the market at the moment. The advantage of using this twin 18V tool is that there is no need to upgrade your batteries to 36V, just use your existing 3Ah, 4Ah and 5Ah 18V Li-ion batteries (not included) from your cordless Makita power tools. This product has been manufactured with a battery protection circuit that is perfect to protect the battery from damages due to over-discharge, high temperature or overload current.
