The Timco WingTip Screw 5.5 x 100 100 PCS Box has been designed and manufactured to attach wood to metal, these screws are manufactured with a self-tapping thread with wings designed to ream out the wood allowing the screw to achieve maximum R.P.M. Once the screw wings make contact with the metal they will break off to allow the thread to self tap into the metal.
These screws are manufactured from case & core hardened carbon steel to provide long-lasting robustness.
