The Makita DLX2412TJ 18V LXT Combi Drill & Impact Driver Twin Kit is the ultimate drilling kit for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts, containing the Combi Drill DHP486 and Impact Driver DTD15. The DHP486Z 18V Brushless Combi Drill LXT features the keyless chuck, which has a single sleeve to allow the user to install the bits easily using one hand. This 18V tool can drill into hard substances such as wood to a maximum of 76mm, Masonry to a maximum of 16mm and Steel to a maximum of 13mm. This high-speed performance can be controlled by one finger.
The DTD154Z 18V Impact Driver BL LXT is fitted with a unique T-Mode that is a specially designed tightening mode for self-drilling screws. Also there is an electronic 3-stage power selection for impact power that covers soft, medium and hard to give users that added flexibility.
Both drills are practical tools with unique features to suit a variety of drilling needs. Both are compact, light and have ergonomically designed grips for comfort and each have a LED job light. They are also both brushless, have forward/reverse rotation and have an electric brake for added safety. The kit includes 2 x 5Ah 197280-8 lithium batteries, a DC18RC compact charger and a 821551-8 MACPAK Connector case (Type 3) to keep it all together.
