This postmix is ideal for securing fence posts (concrete, timber, metal, and plastic), Gates, Washing line poles, Rotary washing lines, Fence support posts, Bird tables/feeders and Children’s play equipment.

Features:

  • Rapid setting
  • Easy to use
  • Quick and convenient
  • Supplied in waterproof plastic bags

Specifications:

  • Initial set time: 5-10 minutes depending on conditions
  • Typical compressive strength at 28 days: 28N/mm² (20 degrees C)

Preparation:

Before using Premier Postset, dig a hole of recommended depth based on the post's height, the anticipated load, and soil conditions. For instance, a 75mm (3”) square post standing 1.5m high should be set at 46cm (18”) in heavy soil or 60cm (24”) in light soil or exposed areas. Ensure the soil at the base is firm, then insert the post securely.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Add approximately 5 liters of clean water for every bag of Premier Postset used. Pour half of the bag's content into the posthole surrounding the post. Add around 2½ liters of clean water, allowing it to permeate the mix.
  • Check and adjust the vertical position of the post as needed. Place the remaining material into the hole, followed by an additional 2½ liters of clean water.
