Water Pump Pliers are very well suited to gripping parts that are round and angular, even when their diameters are extended. Knipex’s water pump pliers distinguish themselves by virtue of having self-locking jaws, and once they are set correctly the pressure on the upper handle of the pliers is enough to powerfully turn the workpiece, which results in far lower amounts of effort required to successfully use the water pump pliers. Knipex also induction harden the teeth of their pliers, so that they are still able to grip well after long and intensive use periods. The Knipex Cobra, which we stock at TW Wholesale, also has a feature whereby the opening width can be set directly on the workpiece, removing frustrating and fiddly adjustments.
